Mr. Douglas C. Zettel, 66, of 141 Fox Run Lane, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at his home.

A Memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, May 31, at 1:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan officiating.

Born in 1958 in Dearborn, Michigan, Douglas was the son of the late Richard Paul and Eilene DePugh Zettel. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was a Proud Marine! He spent his career as a Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver where he worked for several different companies until his retirement. He loved God, his family, being a Marine, and NASCAR and he will truly be missed.

Douglas is survived by three daughters: Deidre Butterworth of MI, Hayley Zettel Ayers, and husband, Chad of GA, and Nina Blackwell and husband, Brandon of Autryville; son, Hunter Zettel of Autryville; three grandchildren: Aubree Zettel, Emmett Ayers, and Kolson Ayers; his girlfriend, Charleen Peters; three sisters: Linda Silber, and husband, Tom, Cathy Hatfield, Sharon Buscato; three brothers: Paul Zettel, and wife, Ava, Dave Zettel, and wife, Alma, and Bryan Zettel, and wife, Gail; and many extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
