Diana “Lynn” Ezzell Kersey, 57, of Clinton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, March 19, 2024.
Lynn was born on June 21, 1966. She was raised in Sampson County and daughter of the late Manley and Ilena Preddy Ezzell. She graduated from Union High School. After graduating, she married her sweetheart, Glenn and they raised their son, Gavin, who was always her pride and joy.
Lynn was the Administrative Assistant to the VP of the Swine Division of Prestage Farms for twenty-five years. She took great pride in her job and had a wonderful relationship with her customers and co-workers, who were more like friends and family.
She enjoyed going to Topsail Beach, and any extra time she got, she loved to spend that time with her grandson, Landen, especially attending his golf tournaments. Anything Landen was a part of, she loved to go along and be his biggest fan.
Lynn’s smile and lively, outgoing personality would light up any room. She will definitely be missed by all who knew her. Because to know her, was to love her.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Kersey of the home; her son, Gavin Glenn Kersey of Elizabethtown; Grandson, Landen Gavin Kersey and his mom, Maygan Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 1:00 pm at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raeford Carter officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Online condolences can be sent to the family on her obituary page at the funeral home’s website: www.royalhallfuneralhome.com. Royal-Hall is honored to serve the Kersey family.
