Delenda Harris Jackson, 72, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 17th at 2:00 pm at Spirit of Life Church with Rev. Darian Parker and Bishop Larry Parker officiating. There will be a walk-thru viewing prior to the Funeral Service at the church from 1-1:45. Burial will be immediatley following the service at Grandview Memorial Park. (The family asks that masks be worn, and social distancing be observed.)
Born on April 26, 1948 in Loris, South Carolina, Delenda was the daughter of the late William T. and Beatrice Ward Harris and a member of Spirit of Life Church. She loved her family, friends and church family. Her ministry was showing love by sending out cards to the church members and anyone she felt needed uplifting. She had a heart of gold and would do anything she could to help someone in need. Delenda was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, Timmy Wayne Jackson and wife, Tina of Clinton; grandsons: Tyler and Timothy Jackson; two sisters: Shirley Gautier and husband, Kenneth of Roseboro; Jewel Sessoms and husband, Jerry of Roseboro and a brother, William “Bill” Harris and wife, Linda Faye of Clinton.
In addition to her parents Delenda was preceded in death by her brother Tony Harris.
