Mrs. Debbie Lou Boyette, 69, of 3300 Hunter Rd., won her battle on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Kitty Askins of Goldsboro.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 18, at 2:00 PM at Carr Memorial Christian Church with Rev. Dr. Chris Carroll and Rev. Dr. Penny Ziemer officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.
Born in 1955 in Sampson County, Debbie was the daughter of the late Lofton and Hazel Honeycutt Boyette. She was a member of Carr Memorial where she truly loved her church family. Debbie spent her career with Sampson County Schools until her retirement. Debbie’s smile and genuine love was infectious and will be truly missed; to know her was to love her.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Gary L. Boyette of the home; daughter, Kimberly B. Jackson, and husband, Alex of Clinton; son, Howard Boyette, and wife, Elizabeth; two sisters and best friends: Sylvia Boyette Fryar, and husband, Billy of Clinton, and Judye Boyette Tart, and husband, Donnie of Faison; three grandchildren: Garren Jackson, Kaison Jackson, and Payton Boyette; nieces and nephews who she loved as if they were her own; and many special friends and extended family.
In Addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Boyette.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 PM in the Church fellowship hall, and other times at their home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carr Memorial Christian Church, In c/o Jane Brewer, 1801 Panhandle Rd., Faison, NC. 28341.
