Mr. David Laster “Totler” Hall, 89, of 228 Hamilton Dr., passed away Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 5 at 3:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Honeycutt, Gary Knowles, and Rev. Chris Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Cemetery.
Born in 1935 in Harnett County, David was the son of the late David Allen and Rosa Mae Bass Hall and the widower of his bride, Agnes Elizabeth McClenny Hall. David belonged to Old Mill Church of God and attended as his health permitted. He spent many years farming and was an Electrician.
David is survived by two daughters: Denise Knowles (Gary) of Clinton and Penny Butler (Chris Vann) of Rocky Point; three sons: Donald Hall (Debbie) of Clinton, David Hall (Cheryl) of Benson, and Dennis Hall (Wendy) of Clinton; sister, Linda Weeks (Wayne) of Clinton; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services beginning at 2:00 PM, and other times at his son, Donald’s home, 75 Stormy Lane, Clinton, NC.
In addition to his parents and wife, Agnes, David was preceded in death by three sisters: Plassie Swinson, Donnie Blackburn, and Lonnie Hemmis; and brother, Daniel Hall.
