Mr. Daniel Robert Unger, 72, of 831 Mathews Rd., died at his home on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

A Committal service with military honors will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC.

Born on November 4, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, Daniel was the son of the late Robert and Evelyn Thompson Unger. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Vietnam War and was a Contractor Specialist.

He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Marie Belben Unger; son, Jason Rosenberg, and wife, Melisa of Rockwall, Texas; sister, Renee Lemcool of Prescott, Michigan; brother, Don Unger of Chenning, Michigan; and two grandchildren: Madisyn Rosenberg and Izabella Rosenberg.
