Mrs. Charlotte Kroell Ezzell,78 of Taylors Bridge Hwy. passed away at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh on December 8, 2023.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Evergreen Baptist Church with Rev. Lisa Grissom officiating. The burial will be held privately in the church cemetery.

Born in 1945 in Long Island, N.Y. Mrs. Ezzell was the daughter of the late Peter Henry and Sopha Beck Kroell and the widow of her beloved husband, Ray Nelson Ezzell. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and a retired cafeteria manager. She was a loving wife and mother of unwavering faith in Christ who had an unconditional love for all.

She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Pratt & husband, Jamie of Blountville Tenn. Three sons: Jeffrey Ezzell and wife, Denise of Rocky Point, NC, Douglas Ezzell and wife, Mischa McGehee of Dudley, and Stephen Ezzell of the home. One sister, Kathy Clancy of Ormond Beach, Fla. 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Kroell.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 PM.
