Brenda “Faye” Lockamy Wilson, 75, passed away on Friday evening, April 2, 2021 at her home, with her family by her side.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Keener United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Leanne Calhoun officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm.
Born on January 3, 1946 in Sampson County, Faye was the daughter of the late James Houston and Reva Spell Lockamy. She was a farmer most of her life, cropping tobacco and all kinds of vegetables. She was a beautician and had numerous clients, who were also her friends. She had a heart of gold and would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Faye was a loving and devoted wife, Mom, Nana and sister and loved her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Darious Wilson; Son, Mike Wilson and wife, Angie; Daughter, Katrina Wilson and fiance’, Brian Weeks; two brothers: Jimmy Mack Lockamy and Lee Lockamy; sister, Jackie Daughtry; and her sister, best friend and caregiver, Omie Kaye Cox, all of Clinton. Faye was Nana to four grandchildren: Samantha, Michaela and Mason Wilson and Cody Hughes; two “bonus” grandsons: Jackson and Colby Weeks; and three great-grandchildren: Killian, Ada James and Chase.
