Mrs. Brenda Carol Tyndall Gautier, 66, of 298 Gordon Rd., passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 18, at 11:00 AM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on September 29, 1957, in Sampson County, Brenda was the daughter of Daisy Hayes Tyndall and the late Stephen Everette Tyndall. Brenda was a class of 1975 graduate of Clinton High School. Brenda married the love of her life, Michael Douglas Gautier, and worked together for many years. If you did business with Gautier Saw Shop, you saw Brenda. Prior to Gautier Saw Shop, Brenda worked at Hamilton Beach, and Fussell’s Restaurant. After she retired, she worked part-time at Matthews Drug Store. Brenda loved to spend time at the beach and also camping at the Cliffs of the Neuse, and White Lake. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and attended while her health permitted. Her love for her family and friends was immeasurable and will truly be missed.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband and companion of 47 years, Michael Douglas “Mike” Gautier of the home; daughter, Wendy Carol Gautier Sinclair (Adam) of Clinton; son, Jeffrey Michael Gautier (Nickie Dabbs) of Clinton; three grandchildren: Dylan Michael Sutton (Corey Jackson), Drake Adam Sinclair, and Tobin; mother, Daisy Irene Hayes Tyndall; two brothers: James Tyndall, and Billy Tyndall (Jeff Norris); three sisters: Virginia Herring (Glenn), Barbara Lee (Jerry), and Patricia Lane (Allen Todd); mother-in-law, Alberta Gautier; brother-in-law, Glenn Gautier (Lori) and their two boys, Curtis (Emily) and Andy; special family friends, David and Sharon Sinclair; special friends, Judy and Jackie Horne; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her father, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, David Wayne Tyndall; sister, Annie Lou King; and father-in-law, Tassie Gautier.
The Family requests cheerful colors to be worn in celebration of Brenda’s Life. The family wishes to thank Gentvia Hospice and Nickie Dabbs for their care and compassion during Brenda’s decline.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday, September 17 at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel and at other times at her home.
