Billy Niles Harrell, Jr., 59, of Raleigh, NC, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday,  November 2 at 2:00 PM at Siloam Baptist Church, 833 Tomahawk Highway, Harrells, NC 28444 with Rev. Tim Register officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Born on June 25, 1966, in Sampson County, Niles was the son of the late Lela Melvin Harrell and Billy Niles Harrell, Sr.  He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Cary and sales rep. for E-PowerOn Technologies.  He was a graduate of NC State University and a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.  Niles was much loved by his family and friends.  He was happiest spending time outdoors any chance he got, especially on his family farm in Harrells, NC.

Niles is survived by his wife:  Linda Hewitt Harrell; a daughter: Lillian (Lizzie) Elizabeth Harrell of Raleigh; two sisters: Elizabeth Harrell Newell (Bob) of Winston Salem and Caroline Harrell Garber (Ned) of Fayetteville; a nephew: Will Newell (Whitney); neices: Lela Ray (Davis) and Molly Garber; and four great neices and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Niles was preceded in death by a nephew Cy Garber.
