Mr. Benny Earl McMillan, 77, passed away Wednesday, December 10, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 13, at 1:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bryan Strickland officiating.

Born in 1948 in Carthage IL, Benny was the son of the late Leon and Ola Van Houten McMillan. He was a truck driver for Kivett’s Inc. of Clinton.  His hobbies included cooking, painting beautiful artwork, golfing, and traveling with his wife.

Benny is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee Avery McMillan; six neices: Kathy Irkred (Mark) of MO, Nina Avery, Victoria Lee, Dana Avery, Miranda Warren and Brooke House; and two great nephews: Jeremy McMillan of MO and Jacob McMillan of KS; sister-in-law, Sandy Spell.  Two brother-in-laws:  Lynn Avery & Terry Avery and his fur baby, Pepper.

In addition to his parents, Benny was preceded in death by a brother, Gary McMillan.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and at other times at his home.
