Anita Gail Strickland Baldwin, 64, of 12081 Harrells Hwy., passed away at her home on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2, at 11:00 AM at the Peterson Family Cemetery, Bull Tail Rd., Harrells with Rev. Tim Register and Wayne Cannady officiating.

Born in 1961 in Sampson  County, Anita was the daughter of the late Lacy Washington and Mabel Ray Peterson Strickland. She was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy D. Clark (Howard) of Harrells and Lauren Baldwin of Greenville; three brothers, John Strickland of Harrells, Milton Strickland of Penderlea and Donald Strickland of Dunn; four grandchildren, Kristen Clark, Howard Clark, Shelby Clark and Chance Clark; and   one great-granddaughter, Ansley Clark.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Strickland and a brother, Lester Strickland.
