Albert Ray Heath, Jr. of 60 Pickle Shed Lane, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 4, at 2:00 PM at Royal Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Preddy and Rev. Chubby Reiber officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery with Military Honors.
Born in 1935 in Wayne County, Albert was the son of the late Albert Ray Heath, Sr. and Alma Adams Heath. He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the US Air Force. Albert and his friends would gather and play country and bluegrass music which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also enjoyed sitting in his recliner with his furbaby, Sadie.
Albert is survived by his partner in life of 32 years, Geraldine Preddy; one sister, Evelyn Farmer of Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; Ann Chestnutt and Rachael Grinn and two brothers, Roland and Benjamin Heath.
The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service beginning at 12:00 on Tuesday at Royal Hall Funeral Home Chapel and other times at his home.
