Mrs. Sudie Mae Justice Sutton, 92, 3826 Cabin Museum Rd., passed away at her home on Saturday, August 17, 2019 with her family by her side.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 20th at 1:00 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Ezzell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem PFWB Church Cemetery.
Born on January 22, 1927 in Wayne County, Sudie Mae was the daughter of the late Robert and Flonnie Weaver Justice and widow to Forrest Weldon Sutton. She attended Bethlehem Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and was a former employee of Sampson Electric Company and a substitute teacher for Turkey High School.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Sutton of Turkey; two grandsons: John Sutton and wife, Jennifer of Warsaw; Joshua Sutton and fiancé’ Lacey Sampson of Melbourne, Florida; three great-grandchildren: Elijah, Lilyanne and Jacoby Sutton; great-great granddaughter, Raven; and her special caretaker, William “Mann” Simmons of Faison.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, R.C. Justice, sisters: Callie Oates and Elizabeth McKeel; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Sutton.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 am, and other times at her home.
