Mary Frances Warren-Chamblee, 64, of 8501 Wheeling Drive, Raleigh (formerly of Roseboro) passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning, August 23, 2017. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Elam Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Glunt, Mr. Daniel Joyner and Rev. W.H. Calcutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  

Born on March 5, 1953 in Sampson County, Mary Frances was the daughter of the late Mary Ann Carr and L. A. Warren and the widow of Perry Lynn Chamblee. She was a member of Mt. Elam Baptist Church of Roseboro and a retired school teacher, where she spent many years teaching chemistry at Enloe High School in Raleigh. She loved to cook and sew, especially needlepoint, and also enjoyed traveling.  She especially loved entertaining for her family and friends, whom she loved dearly. 

Mary Frances is survived by her sister, Pamela Warren Cannady and husband, Ronald of Roseboro; two brothers: Lewis Carr Warren and wife, Gigi of Hilton Head, SC; Jeffery Jackson Warren and wife, Dana of Roseboro; two nieces: Addie Chambers Warren of Hilton Head, SC; Maggie Alexandra Warren of Roseboro; two nephews: Collin Jackson Warren of Roseboro; Arthur DeRon Cannady (Laura) and children, Zoё and Zac of Roseboro. She is also survived by two stepdaughters: Anna Ingrum (Kyle) and children, John and Katherine of Murfreesboro, TN; and Lesley Hunt (Scott) and children: William, Mary Paul and AnnaScott of Zebulon.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
