Mary (Horrell) Whitley

Mary Horrell Whitley, 84, of 502 Hubbard Butler Rd., Clinton,  passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

Born on April 18, 1932 in Pender County, Mary was the daughter of the late Daniel Raeford and Nellie Mae Cashwell Horrell and the widow of Dempsey Whitley. Mary was a retired Nursing Assistant at Mary Gran Nursing Center. 

She is survived by two daughters: Gail Whitley of Clinton and Karen Rodriquez of Autryville; two sons: Danny Whitley of Atkinson and Glenn Whitley & wife, Sheila of Atkinson; one sister, Louene Sumner of Alabama and two brothers: Leonard Horrell of Leland and Charles Horrell of Atkinson.  She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles David Whitley and a daughter, Janet Whitley.
