Mr. Lee Troy Albertson,91 of 4221 Union School Rd., passed away Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday evening at 6:00PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1610 Boykin Bridge Rd., with President Norman Adkins officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday morning at 11:00AM at the Amos Lanier Cemetery, Brinson and Raynor Lane Chinquapin, NC 28521.
Born on September 10th, 1926 in Duplin County, Lee Troy was the son of the late Lib Cooper and Margie Frances Wilson Albertson and He was married to the love of his life, the late Sadie Mae Henderson Albertson. Lee Troy was a Veteran of The United States Army having served in World War II and was a soldier in “General Patton’s Third Army.” Lee Troy spent several years in the Police force and later pursued what he made a career as a Sewing Machine Machinist. He was very creative and enjoyed poetry and was known to always have a joke to tell.
Lee Troy is survived by his four daughters: Velma Piercy and husband, Ralph of Clinton, Christine Page and husband, Jimmy of Wallace, Roberta Albertson of Wallace and Ann Barrineau and late husband, Ray of Clinton; three son’s: Doug Albertson and wife, Karen of Baton Rouge, LA., Ricky Albertson and wife, Sandy of Sumner, GA., and Tony Albertson and wife, Kelly of Phoenix, AZ. Lee Troy also had 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren who he truly adored.
In addition to his parents and his beloved wife Sadie, Lee Troy was preceded in death by all of his siblings.
