Janice Faye (Eldridge) Anders

Mrs. Janice Faye Eldridge Anders, 73 of 2055 Carr Church Rd., passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 27 at 3:00 pm at Carr Memorial Christian Church with Dr. Penny Ziemer officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.

Born on August 22, 1944 in Sampson County, Janice was the daughter of the late James Perry and Eunice Mae Boyette Eldridge. She was a retired lunchroom technician with Halls-Piney Grove School and served hundreds of children and county employees over the years.  She was a lifelong member of Carr Memorial Christian Church, where she served many years as a Sunday School teacher and enjoyed sharing her love for God with the children. She loved singing in the choir, where she began singing when she was twelve years old.  She loved spending time with her family more than anything, and was extremely devoted to her children and grandchildren.  She was admired and loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Joseph Ray Anders; her daughter, Cindy Anders West and husband, Richard of Clinton; her son, Gerald Anders and wife, Terrie, also of Clinton; five grandchildren: Matthew West, Joseph West and fiancé, Lauren Hairr, Miranda West, Haley Anders Sinclair and husband, Reid, and Jacob Anders.  She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Analiza West, Zannah Hairr and Barrett West.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers: Larry and Jimmy Eldridge. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 6-8 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home; and other times at her home.
