Harold Ray “Pee Wee” Jackson, Jr., 47 of 3351 Lake Artesia Rd., passed away Monday, October 8th, 2018 doing what he loved and will truly be missed by all of his fellow drivers and everyone at the shop.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at 3:00pm at Royal Hall Funeral Home Chapel, 301 McKoy St. with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
Born on May 22nd, 1971 in Sampson County “Pee Wee” was the son of the late Harold Ray Jackson, Sr. “Pee Wee” spent 20 plus years out on the road as a Heavy Haul truck driver and where he worked for Rock City Heavy Haul of South Carolina. He truly loved his family and had a passion for the work he did.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Doerr Jackson of Faison; his mother, Brenda Dudley Jackson of Faison; Daughter Alyssa Hernan and husband, Will of Clinton; two step-daughters: Kelsey Younkin and husband, Jon and Shawna Thompson both of Sartell, MN; two step-sons: Shane Johnson and Daniel Thompson both of Faison; one sister, Sharry Malpass and husband, Ryan of Clinton; Four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. “Pee Wee” was also survived by a special Aunt, Aunt Janice Dudley and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his Dad, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Blanche Denise Jackson
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2pm, in the chapel of Royal-Hall Funeral Home; and other times at the home of his home, 3351 Lake Artesia Rd., Faison, NC. 28341
