Mrs. Geraldine Rose Barr Caison, 82 of 283 Hamilton Dr. died at Rex Hospital in Raleigh Friday, April 6, 2018.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.

Born in 1935 in Sampson County, Geraldine was the daughter of the late Willie and Mary Elizabeth “Lizzie” Barefoot Barr. She was a retired Nurse, having worked with Dr. Newman and Dr. Carr and was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Elwood Caison; a daughter, Brenda Caison Levai and husband, David of Okinawa, Japan; a son, William Caison and wife, Jennifer of Ladera Ranch, California; three sisters: Willa Currie of Wallace, Clara B. Smith and husband, Walter of Clinton, Barbara B. Milligan and husband, Bryan of Wilmington; three grandchildren,: Jonathan Levai and wife, Nancy, Katie Caison and Emily Caison; two great-grandchildren: Jaden and Valerie Levai; and a group of very special friends: Jimmy, Melody and Jamie Holland.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethelene Brock and Reta Marshburn.

The family will receive friends at Royal-Hall Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral, beginning at 1:00 PM and other times at her home.
