Georgia Lee Brewer

Ms. Georgia Lee Brewer, 87 of 2021 H.B. Lewis Rd., passed away Tuesday December 11, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home with Richard Lee Officiating.

Born on December 1, 1931 in Duplin County, Georgia was the daughter of the late Oscar Norwood and Georgia Lane Lee and the widow of the late Grover M. Brewer. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church where she was heavily involved in the music ministry as their pianist. Georgia was also a retired employee with the City of Clinton Police Department.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Amy Brewer; two grandsons: Rodney Keith Brewer and wife, Brandie and Grover Scott Brewer all of Clinton; and a brother, Richard Lee and wife, Joan. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren: Austin, Morgan, Byron and Courtney Brewer, Michael and wife, Sasha Odom,
Corey Odom; and three great great-grandchildren: Michael Cooper Odom, Corey Alan Odom Jr.; and Anakin Lee Odom.

In addition to her parents and husband, Georgia was preceded in death by a son, Grover M. “Butch” Brewer, Jr.; her sisters: Faye Duggan, Doris Outlaw, Lona Stafford and Catherine Thompson; four of her brothers: Yates Lee, Oscar Ray Lee, John Wesley Lee and Gene Lee; and her special friend, S. D. Turner, Jr.
