Donald Edward Jackson

Mr. Donald Edward Jackson, 67, of 114 Hondros Road, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. 

Born on December 10, 1950, Donald was the son of the late Dewey Coolidge and Betty Iris Edwards Jackson. He was married to the late Ann Norris Jackson for 42 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Grove Park Baptist Church.  He worked for Carolina Telephone/CenturyLink his entire career and loved his job and his coworkers. He retired shortly after losing the love of his life in 2012.  He was a quiet, patient man who enjoyed traveling, listening to beach music and loved to shag.

He is survived by his three daughters: Lori Jackson Dew and husband, Michael of Clayton; Jana Jackson Hobson and husband, David of Clinton; Kelly Jackson Williams and husband, Brandon of Roseboro.  He was also blessed with six grandchildren whom he adored: Sophie Grace Dew, Lawson Michael Dew, Emma Langdon Hobson, Kate Norris Hobson, Griffin Reid Williams and Palmer Gray Williams.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grove Park Baptist Church, 609 Northeast Blvd., Clinton, NC 28328.
