Mr. Bobby Charles Raynor, 85, of 260 Hondros Rd., passed away May 13, 2018 at The Magnolia Assisted Living Facility in Clinton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16 at 3:00pm at Grove Park Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Threatt and Rev. Michael Shook officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on August 11, 1932 in Sampson County, Bobby was the son of the late Estelle Chesnutt and Emil Raynor and a member of Grove Park Baptist Church. Bobby was a carpenter by trade, with a passion for fixing things and working with his hands.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Billie B. Raynor; his two daughters: Emily Frances Emanuel and husband, Lonnie Ray, and Barbara Ballance and husband, Jimmy, all of Clinton; a sister, Elizabeth R. Warren of Clinton; a brother, William “Billy” Raynor of Ft. Miles, SC; four grandchildren: Kelly Rose Stancil (Eric), Mallory Deluca (J.B.), Timothy Charles Raynor and Anna Rose Emanuel; and two great-grandsons: Connor Stancil and John Luke Deluca.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Knowles and two brothers: James R. Raynor and Eugene Raynor.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00pm in the church sanctuary, and other times at their home.
