Mr. Ardell Jackson, 77, of 580 Wiggins Rd., passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 17, 2017 with his family by his side.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday afternoon, July 20, 2017 at 3pm, at Plainview PFW Baptist Church, 5105 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, with Rev. Chubby Reiber and Rev. Ralph Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Daughtry Family Cemetery located on Lockamy Rd., Clinton.

Born on March 30, 1940 in Sampson County, Ardell was the son of the late Zebbie A. and Lou Etta Daughtry Jackson. He was a member of Plainview PFW Baptist Church and the owner of Jackson Auto Sales & Parts. He had a passion for antiques and loved going to flea markets. To all his friends and family he was known to be a prankster and jokester. He will definitely be missed by everyone who knew him. 

Ardell is survived by his wife of 19 years, Elizabeth H. Jackson of the home; two daughters: Regina Hunt (Christopher) of Ft. Myers, Florida and Barbara Morrison of Clinton; his son, Donald Ardell Jackson of Clinton; four stepdaughters: Cathy Allen (Ronnie) of Newton Grove, Sandra Stewart (Curtis) of Four Oaks, Lisa Pope (Tim Duke) of Four Oaks, Angela Lee of Warsaw; and one sister, Joyce Daw (J.T.) of Clinton.  He was also blessed with twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.  

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Thelma Lou Hawley; and five brothers: Lewis Robert Jackson, Dewey C. Jackson, Zebbie Small Jackson, Norwood Jackson and Jadeen Jackson.  

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral, beginning at 1 pm at the church; and other times at their home.
