Annie Muriel Johnson Fisher Pate, 87, of Clinton, passed away early Monday morning, August 27, 2018 at Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab Center in Fayetteville.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 30th at 3:00 pm at Clinton Cemetery with Rev. Don Myers officiating.
Born on October 22, 1930 in Sampson County, Annie was the daughter of the late Bascom and Mollie Hudson Johnson. She attended Garland High School, Class of 1949 and attended Grace United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Crayon Fisher and Richard “Pinky” Pate.
She is survived by her sister, Mildred Lewis of Fayetteville; her brother, B.J. Johnson of Garland; two granddaughters: Olivia Ruiz and Melissa G. Gumm; and three great-grandsons: Savon Ruiz, Elijah Cameron Gumm and Jaxon Reyes.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Molly Ann Scott; and three sisters: Lillian Batchleor, Alene Carter and Estherleen Carter.
Family will receive friends prior to the graveside service on Thursday, from 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
