Ann Faye Cox

Ms. Ann Faye Cox, 72, of 517 Welkin Court, Durham (formerly of Clinton), died at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 20 at 11am at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park. 

Born in 1945 in Johnston County, Ann was the daughter of the late George Bedford and Vera Gladen Lassiter Cox.  She was a member of Triangle Presbyterian Church in Durham and a retired Registered Nurse.

She is survived by her brother, Lynn A. Cox and wife, Gayle of Sanford, Florida; three nieces: Lori Lash of Sanford, Florida, Angela Collins of Texas and Sherrie Richards of Albemarle; sister-in-law, Katherine Cox of Albemarle; and several great nieces & nephews, and her devoted friend, Linda Perkins of Sanford, NC. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lathan Cox.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
