Mrs. Josie Waters Phillips, 69 of 121 Jean Lane, died in Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, Sunday, February 14, 2010.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday night at 6:00 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Shook officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 am in Grandview Memorial Park.

Born in 1941 in Sampson County, Mrs. Phillips was the daughter of the late Huey and Irene Jordan Waters. She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church and a retired employee with Hamilton Beach.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Phillips; three sons, Robert P. Phillips and wife, Cindy of Apopka, Florida, Wayne Phillips and Christopher Phillips both of Clinton

Four grandchildren: Robert E. Phillips, Thomas Wayne Phillips, James Dylan Phillips and Angel B. Phillips.

Two great grandchildren: Emily Phillips and Gabriella Phillips.

The family will receive friends immediately following funeral services at the funeral home and other times at her home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grove Park Baptist Church, 609 N.E. Blvd. Clinton, NC 28328
