Mr. Wayne Wright Butler, 58, of 536 Harmony Church Rd, died on Tuesday, October 11th 2016.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday afternoon, October 16th at 3:00 at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Bishop officiating.

Born on May 12, 1958, Wayne was the son of the late Stanley and Dixie Tew Butler.  He was a carpenter by trade, loved working with wood and always had a helping hand to anyone in need.  He was a man of integrity, very humble and softspoken. His friends and family always knew he was there to help and would give you the shirt of his back. He was a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His passion was his family and he's never been quite the same since losing the love of his life almost a year ago.  Wayne was blessed with a close-knit, loving family and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Kari Butler; his son, Chris and his granddaughter, Alexis Butler, all of the home; four sisters: Doris Bass of Newton Grove, Margaret Hollingsworth of Clinton, Barbara Brisson of Orlando and Sula Mandingo of New York; one brother, John Butler of Newton Grove; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda & Terry Potter of Clinton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda and two brothers: George and Bobby Butler.

Visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross by visiting their website, www.redcross.org.
