Sadie Mae (Henderson) Albertson

Mrs. Sadie Mae Henderson Albertson, 86 of 4221 Union School Rd., passed away at her home  March 12th, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

A Service to honor her life will be held Thursday evening, March 15th at 6pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel, 1216 West Elizabeth St., Clinton with President Alfred Tyndall and Elder Lee West officiating. A Graveside Service will be held Friday morning at 11:00 AM at Amos Lanier Cemetery, located on Brinson and Raynor Ln, in Chinquapin.

Born October 18th, 1931 in Duplin County, Sadie was the daughter of the late Eddie Clayton and Irma Pierce Henderson. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a retired seamstress and a homemaker.  Mrs. Sadie enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren, whom she adored. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Lee Troy Albertson; four daughters: Velma Piercy and husband, Ralph of Clinton, Christine Page and husband, Jimmy of Wallace, Roberta Albertson of Wallace, Ann Barrineau and the late, Ray of Jacksonville, NC; three sons: Doug Albertson and wife, Karen of Baton Rouge, LA., Ricky Albertson and wife, Sandy of Sumner, GA, and  Tony Albertson and wife, Kelly of Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Sadie was also blessed with seventeen  grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to her service on Thursday, from 5 until 5:45 pm in the Cultural Hall of the church, and other times at the home of Velma and Ralph Piercy, located at 4265 Union School Rd., Clinton.
