Randy Sherrill Sutton

Mr. Randy Sherrill Sutton, 59, formerly of Jacksonville, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening, February 21, 2018 with his family by his side.   

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2pm at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US-117, Dudley, NC with Rev. Kevin Haynes and Dr. Gary Threatt officiating. 

Born on September 14, 1958 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Randy was the son of Jean Carol Sutton and the late Delmas Sherrill Sutton.  He was a member of The Sanctuary Church of Jacksonville and was a self-employed business owner and investor. He had a special love for his family, friends, church and his “little” dog, Inga. 

He is survived by his mother, Jean Carol Sutton; wife, Linda Clarke Sutton; daughter, Kelli Sanders and husband, Jeff; two sons: Keith Brown, Kenneth Brown and wife, Gail; sister, Sandra Kellum; brother, Kenneth Sutton and wife, Laura of Garner; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Community Home Care & Hospice, especially to his hospice nurse, Tommie Briscoe and Nurse Asst., Carlee Cannady.

The family will receive friends at his mother’s home located at 1004 Bass Drive, Clinton.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grove Park Baptist Church, 609 NE Blvd, Clinton, NC  28328.
