Mrs. Patricia (Pat) Jackson Bradshaw, 72, of 2120 Feed Mill Rd., Roseboro, passed away on Friday morning, March 17th 2017 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 3:30 PM at Mt. Elam Baptist Church, 2211 Mt. Elam Church Rd., Roseboro, with Pastor Brandon Glunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 7605 Newton Grove Hwy, Dunn.

Born on June 25, 1944 in Sampson County, Pat was the daughter of the late Ollen Cooper and Sarah Mattie Hudson. She was a member of Mt. Elam Baptist Church and owner of Powell’s Insurance Agency in Clinton.  She loved to work at the insurance agency had a great relationship with all her customers and was known for keeping in contact with them, keeping “post-it notes” about them, helping them in any way that she could and always “telling them like it was”.  She has always enjoyed farming, cooking and being a caregiver to others in need.   She was a loving, feisty woman who will be greatly missed by her customers, coworkers and friends, but especially by her family.

Pat is survived by her husband, David Ray Bradshaw of the home; her daughter, Sarah Kelli Johnson & husband, Dr. Cliff Johnson of Arden; her son, Jeff Bradshaw & wife, Teresa of Roseboro; and two grandchildren: Jaden and Sawyer Bradshaw. She also had a furry friend she leaves behind, her border collie, Pepper.  She was predeceased by her brother, Allen Cooper Jackson.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM, in the Church Fellowship Hall.

The family would like to express their appreciation to everyone for their prayers, cards, calls and visits made to Pat during her illness. She fought hard and the love shown to her kept her spirits up the entire time.

Royal-Hall is honored to serve the Bradshaw family.
