Mrs. Minnie Lee Tevepaugh Jones, 85 of 2315 NC Hwy 242 (formerly of Dunn) passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Liberty Commons Rehabilitation Center in Benson.

Funeral Services will be held at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Feb. 14th at 2pm with Rev. Polly Lucas officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.

Born on April 4, 1932 in Wake County, Minnie was the daughter of the late Elexander and Edith Sessoms Tevepaugh and was the widow of Luby J. Jones. She attended Crestview Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Dunbar Foods of Dunn.

Minnie is survived by her three sons: John Jones, Charlie “Gene” Jones, both of Turkey; Ernest Jones and wife, Donna of Dunn; six grandchildren: Amy Jones, Samantha Jones, John Curtis Jones, Cory Justin Jones, Renee Jones, Jason Massengill; eight great-grandchildren: Lana, Cloe, Axel, Chance, Ethan, Alton, Christian and Jordan.

In addition to her parents and husband, Minnie was preceded in death by a son, Luby J. Jones, Jr. and a grandson, Matthew Scott Jones.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, Feb. 13th from 6-8 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
