Mr. Matthew Tanner Fulton, 27, of 702 Peterson St., passed away Sunday July 31st, 2016 at his home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday Aug. 4th at 11:00AM at Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Jim Moran and Rev. Dr. Louie Andrews officiating. Burial will be held privately prior to the service.

Born on April 5th, 1989 in Sampson County, Matthew is the son of William “Bill” and Melissa Tanner Fulton. He was a graduate of Clinton High School, and later earned a B.S. in Finance from Appalachian State University. He was employed as the Accounting Manager with Prestage Farms. He is an Eagle Scout and was a proud member of the 2005 Clinton High School 2A State Championship football team.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by his brother, Steven Fulton and wife, Ellie of Greensboro; his Maternal Grandmother, Dorothy Tanner of Madison, VA. and Paternal Grandfather, Hewitt Fulton of Laurinburg.

Matthew was preceded in death by his Maternal grandfather, Richard Tanner and Paternal grandmother, Katherine Fulton.

The family will receive friends following the Celebration of Life service in the McQueen Building at Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church and other times at his parents’ home, 1134 Airport Rd. Clinton, NC.
