Iris Daye Bordeaux, 69, of Pittsboro (formerly of Clinton) passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at her home. 

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, February 25 at 11:00 am at Ingold Community Cemetery, Johnson Rd., Ingold with Rev. William Tew officiating.

Born in 1947 in Sampson County, Iris was the daughter of the late Arthur Franklin and Lois Carter Bordeaux. She was a retired social worker with Emory Health Care in Atlanta, Georgia.   

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Bordeaux of Pittsboro and brother, Arthur Franklin Bordeaux, Jr. of Wake Forest. 

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
