Mrs. Helen Marie Weeks Rose, 82, of 1212 Boney Mill Rd., passed away to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday morning, August 15, 2017 at Sampson Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 863 Boney Mill Rd., Clinton, with Rev. Ray Carter and Rev. Jimmy Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born on September 13, 1934, Helen was the daughter of the late Nellie Bell and Alonza Thomas Weeks and the widow to Carlyle W. Rose, Sr.. She was a retired seamstress with Garland Shirt Factory and a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Helen is survived by her three sons: Carlyle W. Rose, Jr. and wife, Fran of Clinton; Michael Lynn Rose and wife, Peggy of Clinton; Timothy Wayne Rose and wife, Janet of Erwin; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Bessie Weeks Jackson, Rachel Weeks Tucker and Evelyn Weeks Boykin; and two brothers: Albert Henry Weeks and Jesse Weeks.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, August 16th from 7-9 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel, and other times at her home.
