Dorothy Paige (Andrews) Carter

 Mrs. Dorothy Paige Andrews Carter, 91, of 411 Magnolia Church Rd., Stedman, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Haymount Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Fayetteville.

 Born on May 20, 1925, Mrs. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Raymond and Maggie Justice Andrews. She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church and loved attending “tent revivals” and had a passion for the Lord.  She was a homemaker all her life and the widow of Albert Washington Carter.

 She is survived by two sons: Wayne D. Carter and Jay Carter, both of Fayetteville; two grandchildren: Michelle C. Williams & husband, Carlyle of Clinton; Lee Ann Simpson of Fayetteville; three great-grandchildren: Mary Ashleigh Williams, Joseph Williams, Halee Ann Simpson; and a sister, Lois Sandy of Clinton.

 In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sonny Andrews.
