Mr. Erwin William “Bill” Lee, 93 of 503 Woodrow St. died at Southwood Nursing & Retirement Center Sunday December 17, 2017.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of First Baptist Church, 408 College St., with Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Born in 1924 in Johnston County, Mr. Lee was the son of the late Erby and Addie Ferrell Lee. He attended Wilson’s Mill High School and Smithfield High School. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and a former member of Lloyd Pearson’s Sunday School Class. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army having served in WWII from 1943-1946. He was a member of Hiram Lodge #98 AF & AM, Scottish Rite, Sudan Shriners and former member of the Antique Auto Club of America. He was the Co-owner of City Auto Parts.

He is survived by his Wife, Edith Faulkner Lee. Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anabel Lee Powell and Margaret Lee Hamilton and a brother, Wilson Lee.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, and other times at his home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 408 College St. Clinton, NC 28328.
